She recalls, "I remember stumbling upon one that ripped me to shreds. It took me a couple of days to recover." Kate Bosworth has signed up to star in the feature version of Paulo Coelho's best-selling book "Veronika Decides to Die." The plot is about a woman – played by Kate - who ends in a psychiatric after a failed suicide attempt, where she discovers her heart has weakened and has a few days to live. Her recovery begins when she falls in love and her life magically changes. Directed by Emily Youn and penned n by Larry Gross ("We Don't Live Here Anymore") and Roberta Hanley ("Woundings").

Calvin Klein will Throw a party to celebrate its 25 years, hosted by actress Hilary Swank and the current model of the brand, Djimon Hounsou. Hilary, who was in the CK ad campaigns in 2004, will entertain the event during New York Fashion Week on September 4th. In the after party, Kate Bosworth and Julianne Moore, will welcome the guest to the private dinner for the most powerful people of the fashion work at the Wakiya restaurant at the Gramercy Park Hotel.

Bosworth was born in Los Angeles
and moved with her parents to San Francisco at age 6, to
Connecticut at 9, and to Cohasset, Mass at 14. At this age she
began her acting career going on make her mark as an actual teen
in a teen drama, starring on The WB's "Young Americans" (2000).
Bosworth presented the casting directors for "The Horse
Whisperer" with a Christmas card photo in lieu of a professional
headshot and landed her first acting role in the 1998 romantic
drama (credited as Catherine Bosworth), playing Judith, the ill-fated
best friend of the scarred young girl (Scarlet Johansson) who
